Bali offers time for discovery and relaxation among Ubud's rice terraces, temples and beaches. Inland routes focus on nature and culture, while coastal stays offer beaches and sea views. Travel between apparently nearby places can take time, so we choose accommodation areas alongside the daily route. A programme based around two or three areas can reduce long journeys and leave free days.
