Honeymoon in a private villa

Destination guide
Green valleys, private villas and a pace that slows the moment you land.
Bali is smaller than it feels. In one day you can move from rice terraces above Ubud to a beach club in the south, and the drive between them is part of the trip rather than a gap in it. The island changes character with the road: temple towns inland, black sand and surf in the west, quiet cliffs and clear water in the south east. Most travellers try to see all of it at once and spend the week in traffic, so we plan Bali the other way round, in two or three bases with unhurried days in between. Our routes lean towards a villa with its own pool, an early start when a site is worth having to yourself, and evenings that stay close to where you are sleeping. It is the destination guests most often picture for a first trip together, and it holds up to that picture.

Starting points rather than fixed products. Every route is rebuilt around your dates, your pace and who is travelling with you.

A planner walks you through the current entry and document requirements for your passport before anything is confirmed, then checks them again close to departure. We tell you what applies to your travel window rather than quoting a rule from memory.
The island has a drier stretch and a wetter one, and even in the wetter months the rain tends to arrive in bursts rather than settle in for the day. We plan around the dates you actually have, and if a month genuinely works against what you want from the trip, we say so before you book.
It is a natural fit for one. A villa with its own pool, two bases instead of five, and a driver who knows the roads turn Bali into the private version of itself rather than the busy one.
